Foundation is pleased to announce the pending arrival
of "From Tees to Greens and Everything In Between"
This History/Cookbook is a wonderful collection of recipes,
exciting WSCGA history and priceless
photos.
The
WSCGA Vicki Hillen Junior Golf Foundation
is a non-profit organization whose primary vision is to provide
recreational activities for juniors by exposing them to golf instruction
and playing opportunities, and to extend financial assistance
to qualified juniors whose families can not afford the expenses
associated with junior golf.
In
an attemtp to establish a long-term fundraiser for our projects,
the WSCGA Vicki Hillen Junior Golf Foundation
has developed a truly unique book. We invite you to join in our
endeavor by purchasing the book and reliving the 58 years of the
Women's South Carolina Golf Association.

WSCGA JUNIOR GIRLS' GOLF
The girls' junior
golf program of the Women's South Carolina Golf Association strives to enhance
the lives of girls through exposure to the game of golf, by fostering
competition, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for the integrity of the
game. The program promotes the development of competitive skills in young
women and provides opportunities to showcase those skills, all while learning
life's great lessons through the game of golf.
ASSISTANCE FOR JUNIOR GIRLS
The WSCGA also provides monetary assistance for the junior golfer who plays not only in our local
events but also national events. The following is a list of guidelines the Board of Governors has
set:
CRITERIA TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR
WSCGA MONETARY ASSISTANCE

Must be under the age of 19 years of age while playing in
applicable tournaments.

Must NOT be associated or affiliated in any way with a NCAA
college or university.

Must participate in at least one (1) of the five (5) WSCGA major
championships.

Must be a legal resident of the State of South Carolina.

Application must be received by September 1 with copies of
receipts attached.
EXPENSES COVERED BY THE WSCGA

Travel expenses for tournament.

Motels, hotel or other housing expense.

Practice ball and caddies expense.

The WSCGA Board of Governors allocates a certain amount of
monies each year. The total of your request may not be available since we will
distribute the money as evenly as possible from all applications received.

Please note: If you are a Junior Golfer and have applied for
financial assistance from the WSCGA and are entering college on a golf
scholarship you may receive assistance without violating any NCAA/USGA
rules. This is in accordance with NCAA guidelines (Bylaws) 12:1:2e.
