Women’s South Carolina Women’s Amateur Rankings
The WSCGA Ranking system is based on a point system earned through performance and participation throughout the course of the golf season. Points are awarded for most of the major women’s amateur events across the country. This point system will select the WSCGA Players of the Year along with deciding the selection for the semi-annual USGA State Team members. The State Team Selection Committee has additional factors that also will be a part of the selection process including, but not limited to: 1) Participation in WSCGA events. 2) Sportsmanship. 3) Scores Posted. Note: Total points for USGA State Team selection include the past two year’s major championships.

The WSCGA will have two ranking lists: One for regular women’s events and one for senior events. Points earned while playing in a particular event only counts towards that specific ranking list. For instance, Regular events will not count toward senior rankings and vice versa.
