2007 WSCGA 10th MIXED TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP- FINAL RESULTS
Hampton Hall Golf Club October 13-14, 2007

Chamberlin & Hamerton Are Victorious Chris Chamberlin and Wallace Hammerton shot a final round of two under par for a two day total of 135 and a three shot victory in the 10th Annual WSCGA/SCGA Mixed Team Championship.  Even with a bogey on their final hole, the Rock Hill and Bluffton team managed to shoot a two under par 34 on the back nine and hold off the second place team of Cecilia Barksdale and Jimmy Hawkins. Jeff and Charlotte Twitty finished with a score of 151 to win the First Flight in the Championship Division. In the Senior Division, Kirk & Sybil Davis from Okatie shot their second consecutive even par round of 72 to edge out Greenville’s Charles and Kay Hall by one shot.  The Davis’s teamed together to make three birdies in their final round for nines of 36-36.  Charley Gibbs & Teddy Stockwell shot a two day total of 157 to claim the first place position in the First Flight of the Senior Division.  Four teams tied for first place in the Second Flight with a score of 169.< The 2007 WSCGA/SCGA Mixed Team Championship was played on the Pete Dye designed Hampton Hall Club in Bluffton, S.C.
