of five under par 67 to win the WSCGA State Team Championship.
Their two day total of 134 sets a WSCGA Team Championship
scoring record.
Lea
Venable and Cecelia Barksdale shot a 3 under par 69 to finish
as the Runner-Up team. Karen Ferree and Sue Churchich finished
third with a two day total 142.
The
wind that blew all day during Thursday’s Four Ball round
was quite on Friday at Oldfield Club as the teams played
the difficult modified alternate shot format.
