COURSE RATING & MEASURING
Designated
as official course raters by the USGA, the WSCGA Rating
Committee is comprised of trained volunteers who have
attended USGA seminars. They are also authorized to
train new candidates for the WSCGA rating team. The
Rating Committee measures and rates all new courses in
South Carolina for women. Older courses are re-rated on
an on-going basis to comply with the USGA rating system.
Member clubs should notify the Rating committee whenever
significant alterations are made to their course for
re-ratings.
