2001 CHAMPIONS KRISTINE BERGER & CAROL HAMMOND

Kristine Berger and Carol Hammond of Hilton Head fired a one-over 73 in the modified alternate-shot final round to win the 2001 WSCGA Team Championship. They opened the tournament with a three-under 69 in the better-ball format. Hammond won the championship for the second consecutive year, last year with partner Karen Ferree. The event was once again contested at Woodside Plantation in Aiken.

Berger and Hammond finished three shots clear of two teams who shot 145 for the event. Other flight champions include Mary Habersham and Judy Allardice, Sue Butler and Jill Ray, and Genon Krivohlavek and Karen Snell.
