Karen Ferree and Carol Hammond, both of Hilton Head Island, won the fifth annual Women’s South Carolina Team Championship. Sixty-four teams competed in the 36 hole event held at Woodside Plantation in Aiken March 21-22, 2000.
The tournament is scored using two formats. For the first round, competitors play the Four-Ball format and for the final round they play a Modified Alternate Shot format.
