The team of Cecilia Fournil of Columbia and Lea Bagwell Venable from Simpsonville, won the 2006 WSCGA Team Championship on the first playoff hole after finishing the tournament at 146 and in a tie with the Wallace Hamerton from Bluffton and Mari Harter of Hilton Head Island. The opening round four-ball format was played on Woodside Plantation’s Cupp course, and the final round modified alternate shot format was contested on the Jones course.

Flight champions include: Carol Hammond/Kristine Berger tie Diane Belair/Karen Zeip, Cathy McKie/Liz Scheuer, Joy Figueredo/Maureen Allen, Grace Therriault/ Ann Marie Finn, Lynn Flick/Terry Moore, and Linda Walters/Dinah Bunn.
