Three South Carolina juniors qualified for the USGA Junior Girls Championship to be held July 22-27 at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield, NJ. Lorraine Ballerano of Myrtle Beach shot a one-over par 73. Whitney Simons of Aiken fired a two-over par 74. Taylor Barrett of York successfully negotiated a three-way playoff after a four-over par 76. Laura Crawford of Lancaster will be the third alternate from this qualifying site. The medallist was Michelle Jarman of Wilmington, NC.
