The WSCGA offers a range of benefits and services to its Member Clubs and to its individual members. Individual members include all women maintaining GHIN handicaps at our Regular, Associate and e-Club Member Clubs.

WSCGA TOURNAMENTS

The WSCGA offers a full schedule of tournament play for its individual members of all skill levels and abilities. A variety of individual and team formats are offered to respond to the preferences of our diverse group of golfers including individual stroke and match play, team formats such as better ball, scramble, etc. Our One-Days usually offer two or more formats of play such as one individual and one team format. Majors are typically two or more days of play in a specified individual or team format (stroke play, match play, better ball, etc.). There's something for everyone!

The WSCGA engages in partnerships to provide services and benefits to its membership at discounted prices. By supporting our partners with your purchases, you can benefit from special offers, often support women-owned businesses, and in cases where a percent of sales goes back to the WSCGA, directly support the WSCGA. Additionally, the WSCGA tries to obtain sponsorship for some of our events, allowing our participants to get information on products or services that may be of interest to them, often accompanied with a special offer.



EDUCATION SERVICES

COURSE RATING & MEASURING

The Women's South Carolina Golf Association (WSCGA), along with the South Carolina Golf Association (SCGA) and the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA), provides women's course slope and ratings in South Carolina. Golf courses are rated approximately every eight years to comply with USGA requirements. There is no charge to Member Clubs to rate or measure their courses. Member Clubs should notify the WSCGA whenever significant alterations are made to their courses for re-ratings. Please contact us for more information about the rating process.



WSCGA HANDICAP SERVICES

The WSCGA uses GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network) in conjunction with the South Carolina Golf Association and the Carolinas Golf Association offering handicap services to all women golfers in South Carolina.



WSCGA VICKI HILLEN JUNIOR GOLF FOUNDATION

The WSCGA Vicki Hillen JGF is a 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Association focusing on junior girls' golf. The WSCGA Vicki Hillen JGF concentrates its efforts on making the game affordable for South Carolina families and on expanding the skills of our junior girls, with a strong emphasis at the high school level. Programs include: the Junior Girls Assistance Program (JGAP), the Player Development Program (PDP), and the Bob Handler Foundation Scholarships.

The WSCGA provides annual support to the South Carolina Golf Hall of Fame to recognize achievements of South Carolina men and women in golf.
