High School Invitational | September 24 & 25, 2022 | Country Club of South Carolina

The High School Girls Invitational began in 2012 as a way to serve the young female golfers of our state by providing them with a 36-hole tournament event. Golf competitions in high school are primarily nine-hole events, and it the Foundation's saw the need to offer the girls an opportunity to play a two-day tournament in preparation for competing in regional, state and open events.

Through grants and donations, the competitors are provided a championship course and the amenities associated with a first class tournament.

The tournament has grown to a maximum of 72 players. Teams and individuals are extended an invitation based on their previous years scores in the South Carolina High School Championships. For more information, please email the WSCGA JGF, at wscga@wscga.org .

We would like to thank past USGA Grants Committee Chairman, Gene McClure, USGA Grant Department Staff Beth Murrison, the Carolinas Golf Foundation and a special thank you to Tyler Riggin for his continued support in our efforts to grow junior girls golf in South Carolina.
